Day of Caring is a mobilization of hundreds of volunteers to celebrate the spirit of giving through service by providing a morning of meaningful volunteer opportunities to individuals of the community. United Way of Johnson County recently announced allocations of $15,000 being made to seven human service organizations through the Community Small Grants Program. Johnson County agencies receiving these funds are the Cariety Foundation, Burleson Pregnancy Aid Center, Heart For The Kids, Texas Neighborhood Services, Wings of Hope, Johnson County Christian Lodge and the Johnson County Apples Program.
